However, if I want to switch to typing notes if i'm in class or need to get something down quickly, the text editing feature is horrendous. A great feature would be to add a dedicated bullet point option like Word has. I'm in law school so I hand write my notes in class but type up reading notes and it's such a pain to type up notes in Word then convert them to PDFs and add them into my notebooks because I want things to be in one notebook. If the devs added a better text editing function this would 100% be the best app on the market!!Important !

By David ZD DaiI've been a long term goodnotes user since goodnotes 4. The goodnotes 5 has a better appearance and more features that I like, but it also becomes slower than goodnotes 4. For example, when opening a notebook and erasing some contents or copying a large chunk of content, the app will become very laggy. I'm using the iPad 7th generation, so I'm not sure if this is just a matter of the old hardware. But Notability has no such laggy issue. So now I'm using goodnotes simply for pdf reading while using notability for note taking.
